  • Build up scientific relationship with TOP KMEs in new TA area(such as ALS and future NMD area) through fresh engagement; Discuss the most updated clinical trials data with KMEs groups for their insights
  • Be pioneer for KME engagement & association collaboration during new product pre-Launch phases including ALS and future NMD pipelines
  • Engaging in non-promotional and peer to peer exchange of medical and scientific information with KMEs to the extent permitted by law and local regulation, local industry codes.
  • Execute high standards in customer engagement using a multi-channel approach, balancing both face to face and digital interactions including the delivery of virtual engagements using  Teams, Zoom, Veeva Engage and other channels. Tailoring channel of communication to HCP needs
  • Work with relevant commercial counterparts to address  local/regional/national needs from a medical perspective in alignment with both medical and commercial brand plans
  • Record all healthcare professional (HCP) interactions and track MSL activity in the CRM database
  • Participate in respective integrated brand team meetings to provide in-field medical updates, trends, insights and competitor intelligence
  • Contribute and help in planning of in-field medical training of ABMs, be available as a medical resource for the Sales team
  • Support Medical Manager in the coordination of advisory board meetings/steering committees, including speaker briefings
  • Develop regional medical strategy and innovative medical programs. Regularly (at least monthly) liaise with other medical and commercial team/s to ensure consistency and alignment in strategy/tactics including mature SMA, new launch ALS and future NMD pipeline products
  • Collaborate with Medical Managers to generate high quality approved medical and scientific presentations aligned to medical strategy
  • Discuss, analyse and educate on appropriate medical and scientific publications and clinical study findings in collaboration with Medical Manager
  • Provide scientific presentations to individual physicians or groups of physicians, e.g. scientific seminars, round table, journal clubs
  • Capability to communicate with Global colleagues for internal sharing or external KME engagement

Qualifications

  • Medical or scientific qualification, master degree or above
  • 3+ years MSL working experience
  • Related therapeutic area or clinical experience is preferred
  • Better to have lab diagnostics working experience
  • Projects management experience is required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in English and Chinese
  • Established digital communication skills is preferred
  • Experience in coaching others would be an advantage
  • Good team player, fits in the environment with international, diverse, teamwork culture
  • Strong customer orientation, science based
  • Willingness to travel as required
