Senior Logistics Specialist

About This Role:

As a Sr. Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role within our Distribution and Logistics team, ensuring seamless operational delivery of complex international shipments and replenishments. You will manage order-to-cash processes across various distribution models, directly impacting customer satisfaction and product supply continuity. By collaborating closely with global supply chain and PO&T functions, you will oversee logistics execution, managing shipments and resolving shipping deviations. Your efforts will be pivotal in maintaining compliance within frameworks such as SOX and GDP, while identifying and communicating shipment risks to management. Through analyzing cross-functional processes, you will implement solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of the supply chain, thereby adding significant value to our business structure.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage distribution and logistics activities within our organization to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to manage information, product, and cash flows effectively.
  • Lead operational KPI monitoring and adapt logistics activities to evolving supply chain dynamics.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across Distribution and Logistics and other pillars.
  • Train and provide guidance to team members and stakeholders in logistics practices.
  • Analyze and implement solutions to improve supply chain quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate shipment risks and support corrective actions to minimize supply disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality frameworks, including SOX, GMP, and GDP.
  • Articulate recommendations and key decisions to senior management.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive logistics strategies and projects.
  • Foster strong networks across the company to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Logistics role within the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in international and regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Proficiency in Supply Chain tools, including Oracle, Hyperion, PowerBI, TrackWise, SAP.
  • Strong teamwork

Preferred Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt certification.
  • Experience in directing and participating in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong networks across the company.
