About This Role:
In this pivotal position as a Senior Analyst, you will be an integral part of the GBS US Rare Disease Customer Data & Insights / Forecasting team, supporting USO processes and projects. This role offers a unique blend of analytical and operational tasks, critical to driving business decisions. You will significantly contribute to the development of data-driven insights and strategic recommendations, crafting detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to assess brand performance and market trends. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the forecasting and business planning processes by maintaining and updating forecast models for the US Rare Disease market. Additionally, you will be instrumental in generating recommendations for process automation, aiding the USO team in enhancing their insight generation and analytical capabilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Create reports and dashboards for National and subnational US CD&I Rare Disease and leadership teams based on market dynamics and trends.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and partner with stakeholders to assess business potential and model market impacts.
  • Analyze US country data to identify data gaps and maintain Brand/product/KPI template mapping tables.
  • Aggregate data from various sources into databases and models for data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the US Forecaster to understand and model forecast dynamics on US product revenues.
  • Prepare materials to help leaders understand business performance and contextualize performance within the forecasting framework.
  • Prepare up-to-date forecast templates for incentive compensation and demand planning.
  • Leverage standardized analytical tools to communicate key information, insights, and recommendations.
  • Recommend and facilitate the execution of continuous improvement initiatives related to CD&I.
  • Demonstrate project management skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and senior management.

With your excellent communication skills, you can present complex ideas simply and persuasively to various audiences.

Required Skills:

  • Degree in business or science-related field (Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or related).
  • Proficient in English.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience within a large multi-national company or consulting firm, ideally within the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry.
  • Proficient level of Excel and very good knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Ability to mine multiple data sets from disparate sources and identify performance trends and patterns.
  • Ability to develop analytical/forecasting models to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Shared Services/Global Business Services experience in delivering relevant services to an international client base.
  • Proficiency in data visualization using tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
