Payroll Analyst France & European Markets

About This Role:

As a Payroll Analyst for France and other European markets within our Global Business Services team, you will support payroll processing and operations to ensure accurate and timely payments in compliance with local laws. You will work closely with internal teams, payroll vendors, and HR to help optimize payroll processes and support accounting reconciliation. Your role will contribute to smooth payroll operations and provide assistance on payroll-related questions and challenges.

What You'll Do:

  • Process regular and off-cycle payroll for France and assigned European markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collect payroll inputs, calculate payroll, and process transactions correctly.
  • Support accounting reconciliation with payroll providers and internal finance teams.
  • Assist colleagues and participate in cross-training activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll process documentation and suggest improvements.
  • Help optimize payroll systems and promote the use of knowledge bases.
  • Provide timely support to employees and stakeholders, handling payroll queries efficiently.
  • Prepare payroll reports and data analyses for management and third parties.
  • Advise local HR teams on complex payroll cases such as terminations or contract changes.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and compliance.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to meet business requirements.

You are a detail-oriented professional with a keen interest in payroll and compliance. You communicate well and enjoy working with various teams. You take initiative in solving problems and are motivated to learn and improve processes. Your analytical skills help you deliver accurate payroll reporting, and you thrive in a dynamic environment.

Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • French language proficiency (B2-C1).
  • Experience with French payroll processing (minimum 2-3 years) and knowledge of French payroll legislation.
  • Payroll certification preferred (e.g., CPP).
  • Experience working in payroll, ideally within GBS, SSC, or BPO environments.
  • Proficient in Excel and English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with payroll for other European markets.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with payroll vendor transitions is a plus.
