Marketing Manager
Therapeutic Area: Maternal Health/ Post Partum Depression

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Business Unit Head of Specialty, this position will be responsible to lead and execute marketing strategies for PPD Specialty Franchise. They will need to champion the successful life cycle management of the promoted brand assigned, effectively balancing strategic responsibilities with operational duties, bring together cross functional projects and alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for assigned products ensuring they are in line with corporate goals and regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with Business Analytics to conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer insights, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Market Access to align strategies.

Product Management
- Lead lifecycle management of a launch brand (launch vs market penetration vs expansion)
- Define value proposition, messaging, and positioning for healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and other stakeholders.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, and field sales support.
- Manage external agencies for creative, media, and content development.
- Monitor KPIs and ROI to optimize campaign performance.
Sales Enablement
- Develop promotional assets (material, tools, etc) aligned with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Train and support the sales team with product knowledge, messaging, and marketing-driven initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders.
- Help define scientific conferences plans (re symposia, industry events, etc) to support brand visibility and attend key congresses to gather insights.
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with internal policies and industry regulations (re IMC, PAAB, ASC, etc).
As needed, take on/assist in extra duties to support team business.
Perform company business in compliance with relevant regulations, company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field ; MBA or Master's preferred).
- Experience, including # of years.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in Specialty medicine.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory environments and compliance practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing product launches, marketing campaigns and omnichannel promotion.
- Skills
- Must have a track record of successful pharma/biotech marketing with a strong understanding of expense budget planning and tracking.
- Excellent analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills and understanding of business strategy to prioritize team goals and activities with short and long-term planning
- Owns projects management and ensures solutions/partnership deliverables are delivered on time and according to plan and customer needs
- High drive for results
- Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity and be proactive.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with a high performing cross-functional team
- Able to develop strong relationships with HCPs/ Pts/ PAGs
- Act as strategic lead for the brand, in order to influence internal stakeholders around strategy
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with experience presenting at senior management level
- Digital ability (skill level Good to excellent): Capability to readily adopt and promote digital options, platforms and solutions.
- Skills on leveraging Office 365: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, One drive, Teams, SharePoint
- Ability to work across multiple digital platforms and early adoption of new systems/applications
- Travel
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Language
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally spanning all levels of the organization; proficiency in French an asset.
