About This Role:
As the EHS Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and advancing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System within the organization. This position resides within the PO&T/EHS team and involves overseeing global EHS programs such as audits, inspections, training, document management, metrics, and communication strategies. You will provide direction to site-level EHS administrators, ensuring consistency and alignment with global requirements, while collaborating across departments to drive compliance and enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will manage the corporate EHS budget and oversee contract-related activities, all while contributing to impactful global initiatives. This role is pivotal to ensuring the organization's commitment to safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, making you an integral part of our mission to create a safer and more sustainable workplace.

What You'll Do:
- Act as the EHS Functional Learning Lead with technical expertise in global Learning Management System tools.
- Manage and enhance the implementation and maintenance of EHS Training Matrices and Training Needs Assessments.
- Oversee site-level training matrices to ensure consistency and alignment with global requirements.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training to site EHS Program Administrators on global training procedures and IT tools.
- Lead global EHS communications planning and execution, including the annual EHS Awards program.
- Collaborate with Office Managers and Global Security contacts to implement EHS requirements at affiliate offices and for field employees.
- Manage the Affiliate Office Program to ensure alignment with global standards.
- Develop and maintain EHS Management System document matrices and facilitate periodic reviews.
- Advise site program administrators on the development and implementation of site-level SOPs, ensuring consistency with global standards.
- Provide administrative and technical support for EHS IT tools, identifying solutions and enhancements as needed.
- Manage the global EHS budget, including PO creation, spend tracking, and collaboration with Finance.
- Configure reports and dashboards for EHS performance metrics and prepare data for regulatory reporting and audits.
- Support external reporting obligations in partnership with the Head of Sustainability.

Required Skills:
- B.S. in life sciences, environmental field, or another related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in EHS or related fields.
- Proven experience with IT tools related to EHS, Sustainability, or Human Performance functionality.
- Familiarity with ISO/OHSAS protocols.
- Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is desirable.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Expertise in managing budgets and contracts.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and control strategies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Veeva or similar systems.
- Involvement in professional associations.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting and metrics.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $104,000.00-$139,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
