About This Role:
This role will work a scheduled NIGHT shift from 6p-6a on a 2-2-3 rotation
Lead, Material Controls are an integral part of the materials management team in executing warehouse and dispensary tasks, coordinating daily operations, and communicating with other departments within the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
- Leads and directs operators in the day-to-day activities in all processes of the materials management department, ensuring safety and Compliancy
- Performs weigh and dispense activities including but not limited to using the Syncade, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) according to applicable procedures, as needed
- Actively participates in training activities, managing their own individual training plan. Provides training to other associates as required and shares knowledge with others. Observes performance of employees, provides timely and targeted coaching for employees, and provides feedback to Supervisor mid and end of year.
- Identifies and addresses minor issues or obstacles within materials management operations to maintain safe and compliant processes.
- Interfaces with other departments (QC, MFG, Planning, Procurement, scheduling, etc.) to ensure that materials management functions are being performed in a safe, compliant and timely manner
- Revises SOP's, supports deviations investigations, GCC's as needed.
- Engages with team to discuss opportunities to improve ways of working to improve efficiencies

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline preferred + 4 years of Material Handling experience
- Associate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline preferred + 4.5 years of Material Handling experience
- Certificate or HS diploma in an engineering or scientific discipline preferred + 5 years of Material Handling experience
Preferred Skills
- Prior material handling experience in a leadership capacity
- GMP experience
- Pharmaceutical material handling experience
- Highly detailed oriented with excellent documentation skills and exceptional troubleshooting abilities

The base compensation range for this role is: $32.69-$42.31
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
