CE&O (Customer Excellence & Operations) 12-month internship

Biogen and the BioTrain program:

BioTrain allows interns to put their academic knowledge into practice in a very dynamic and challenging business context, which will help them grow and gain professional development.

BioTrain is based on five pillars for the training and development of its participants:

  • Scientific, technical, and soft skills training.
  • Field trips with Medical, V&A, and Commercial teams.
  • Continuous monitoring with Human Resources and their managers.
  • Virtual coffees with Biogen employees and leaders. 
  • Projects that will test all the skills and knowledge acquired during Biogen training.

Position Summary:

This internship is integrated into the CE&O (Customer Excellence & Operations) area, whose objective is to ensure strategic, and omnichannel tactical plans for our products in the Nordic and Baltic markets. The CE&O team is an enabler for cross-functional collaboration by aligning and co-creating with all functions. The CE&O intern will work closely together with the CE&O team and also support other functions such as marketing (commercial), medical and Value & Access to fulfill product strategy and goals. 

The internship covers all Nordic and Baltic countries focusing on the Nordics, and the work scope covers all Biogen’s therapeutical areas depending on defined business priorities.

The intern will support on asset creation with a focus on digital assets (eg. newsletters, websites, videos, webinars) and building omnichannel customer journeys for our external stakeholders.

In this position the intern will:

  • Be part of ICP (Integrated Customer Planning) to define omnichannel work,
  • Build cross-functional CEP (Customer Engagement Journeys) plans for our external stakeholders,
  • Take part in planning and execution of both internal and external meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Omnichannel Excellence Managers to build CEP (Customer Engagement Journeys) and develop appropriate material and initiatives,
  • Work cross-functionally to develop commercial and medical initiatives in an omnichannel way,
  • Assist with content generation in tight collaboration with marketing, commercial and medical,
  • Take part in developing social media campaigns to build e.g. disease awareness,
  • Analyze the impact of our initiatives and review metrics to improve ways of doing business,
  • Be part of the team who develops ICP plans together with other functions and who brings an omnichannel perspective in business communication
  • Support in material review process to stay compliant in all material and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A person interested in communication, digital marketing, analytics, and digital innovation related to health and science is required.
  • Have a pro-active and can-do attitude, independent, eager-to-learn.
  • Minimum educational level necessary for the job: BA or master’s degree preferred.

It is essential to provide:

  • Excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proactive in communication and a self-starter who can work independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Languages: Professional level in Finnish and English (written and conversation)
  • Knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS). Knowledge of analytical tools considered as an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the usage of different digital tools.
