Director, Sales & Marketing Rare Disease
About This Role: As the Director of Sales & Marketing for Brazil Rare Diseases, you will spearhead a dynamic team focused on advancing our rare diseases portfolio in Brazil. This pivotal role involves developing and executing integrated marketing and sales strategies to support business objectives in the rare diseases therapeutic area. You will lead a cross-functional team, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to localize campaigns while ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Your strategic vision will align local execution with global strategies, identifying growth opportunities such as market expansion, portfolio optimization, and strategic partnerships. This role is crucial to enhancing the division's competitive position and driving the launch and lifecycle management of rare diseases products. Your contributions will be integral to the overall success and strategic impact of the Brazil Rare Diseases business unit.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies to support business objectives in the rare diseases therapeutic area.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team including product management, sales leadership, and administrative support.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to localize campaigns and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking for the Brazil Rare Diseases business unit.
- Drive the launch and lifecycle management of rare diseases products, ensuring alignment with medical, regulatory, and commercial goals.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Represent the Brazil Rare Diseases division in cross-functional leadership forums and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between field sales teams and head office functions.

- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the neurology or rare diseases therapeutic areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
