About This Role

Biogen is seeking a Director to serve as the global value evidence strategic lead for our innovative pipeline. This individual will lead the strategic development and execution of payer-focused evidence generation plan (e.g. real-world evidence, health economic modeling, systematic literature reviews and patient-reported outcomes) for one or more assets or therapeutic indications. A strategic mindset and technical expertise, along with the ability to work closely with alliance partners, are critical! The role will report directly to the Head of Global Value Evidence Strategy within the broader Value & Access team.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-impact strategic decision-making on key value evidence priorities
  • Provide external thought leadership on value demonstration approaches
  • Interface with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on value evidence strategy
  • Represent Biogen's perspectives on value demonstration with key alliance partners
  • Lead development of health economic models and RWE evidence studies
  • Assist in selection of trial endpoints relevant to payers and patients
  • Translate evidence into credible and useful value narratives
  • Lead contributions to evidence generation dissemination through scientific communications

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Public Health
  • At least 10 years of experience in Pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research, and market access with minimum 5 years industry experience
  • Experience with real-world data sets (both feasibility and protocol design and execution)
  • Knowledge of patient-reported outcomes and their use in both regulatory and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) settings
  • Ability to translate evidence for dissemination and value narrative purposes (e.g. strong writing skills)
  • Ability to work in cross-functional environment but also be self-motivated and accountable

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $221,000.00-$304,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
