About This Role:
As the Director of Global Supply Operations, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring commercial supply continuity by managing all facets of the Global Commercial Supply Chain. Reporting to the Executive Director of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in driving global governance and performance management of third-party packaging/labeling and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) relationships. Your efforts will ensure consistent quality, compliance, service, and cost performance, enhancing our supply chain's reliability and efficiency. This position is crucial for maintaining robust supplier relationships and optimizing supply chain processes, ultimately contributing significant value to our business operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Select, qualify, onboard, and manage a portfolio of external supply chain partners to meet quality, cost, service, and performance objectives.
  • Implement best-in-class supplier relationship management practices, including governance, KPIs, and business reviews.
  • Lead and manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships to ensure compliant storage, distribution, and inventory control.
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained at targets, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with Trade & Distribution to align key order fulfillment and customer-facing processes.
  • Lead launch preparation and lifecycle management planning by building scalable supply chain infrastructure.
  • Develop integrated project plans aligned with Commercial goals and manage ambiguity and complexity.
  • Lead contract strategy and negotiations across the supply chain with suppliers and service providers.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain compliance and oversee change controls.
  • Maintain processes and systems to support regulatory compliance requirements, including DSCSA and product serialization.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted supply to patients.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance capabilities and improve process efficiency.
  • Occasionally travel to supplier locations for business reviews and operations oversight (estimated 10%).

Who You Are:
You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in supply chain management, particularly within biotech or pharmaceutical environments. Your leadership skills are complemented by your ability to foster strong relationships across diverse teams and external partners. You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to articulate recommendations and key decision points effectively. You thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrating excellent organizational skills to balance multiple projects and tasks concurrently. Your experience with ERP systems and Serialization implementation positions you as a valuable asset to our team.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • 12+ years of experience in supply chain roles of increasing complexity, with at least 6 years in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership ability in both direct team structure and cross-functional matrix environments.
  • Experience with supplier relationship management in a cGMP environment.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional team player with a strong network across the company and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Serialization implementation and DSCSA regulations.
  • Experience working in ERP systems in a pharmaceutical environment, including SAP and/or Oracle.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree and/or Supply Chain certification.
  • Strong experience in negotiation and contract management.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $196,000.00-$270,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
