About This Role:
As a Development Asset Lead (DAL), you will be at the forefront of our portfolio, serving as a full-time leader for one or more preclinical or clinical stage assets within Development. Your role is integral in providing strategic, multi-disciplinary drug development expertise to maximize asset value and delivery. Leading the asset team, you will drive the development and execution of an Integrated Asset Plan (IAP), managing associated budgets and resources efficiently. This position requires seamless collaboration across functions, ensuring all voices are heard and integrating business considerations of time, risk, and value into planning and execution. You will be accountable to governance mechanisms for asset-related actions and decisions, representing the asset at portfolio forums and engaging with senior stakeholders. By defining clear asset goals aligned with the IAP, you'll ensure projects are effectively managed and resources strategically applied, fostering a healthy and effective team environment. Your partnership with the Program Manager will be key to executing the IAP effectively and timely.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the integrated plan for one or more assets to maximize value creation and execution.
- Establish and maintain clear asset goals, timelines, and risk management in partnership with project management functions.
- Drive accountability of functional team members and delivery of functional-level plans that integrate with overarching asset strategies.
- Represent the asset at portfolio governance forums and engage with senior stakeholders in the organization.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders and governance to support asset execution and portfolio decision-making.
- Create and maintain conditions for a strong team culture that facilitates effective planning and execution of the asset strategy.
- Actively participate in the department community of practice to share learnings and promote synergies.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree strongly preferred (MS/MD/PhD/PharmD/MBA).
- 10+ years of drug development experience in pharma or biotech.
- Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in creating and executing clinical development plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to develop a deep understanding of therapeutic areas.
- Understanding of competitive and business implications of scientific and medical data.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in global regulatory requirements and processes for drug development.
- Knowledge of regional or country-specific requirements for patient populations and clinical endpoints.
- Proven ability to integrate commercial and competitive considerations into development strategies.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $217,000.00-$299,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
