About this role
The Commercial Field Excellence (CFE) Manager plays a key role in driving sales excellence by designing, implementing, and continuously improving commercial strategies, tools, and processes that support business objectives.
This position partners closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to optimize field force productivity through data-driven insights, performance tracking, and incentive governance.
The role also ensures launch readiness, customer engagement planning, and CRM data integrity across key platforms such as Salesforce and Veeva CRM.
What You'll do
- Lead Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) activities including target setting, performance monitoring, and incentive calculation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business priorities.
- Oversee incentive governance, liquidation, and committee coordination, while supporting Finance with monthly accruals.
- Design and maintain call plans, optimizing visit distribution and monitoring adherence and KPIs.
- Ensure CRM data quality and governance, promoting data harmonization and standardized practices across markets.
- Deliver CRM/Veeva training, fostering field capability and effective use of digital tools.
- Support segmentation and customer engagement plans (CEPs) to enhance targeting and commercial impact.
- Drive data-driven decision making through advanced analytics, generating actionable insights to guide the omnichannel strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally on launch readiness, ensuring systems, materials, and field teams are fully prepared.
- Lead specific omnichannel and excellence projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the commercial organization.

Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Sales/Commercial Field Effectiveness (SFE/CFE/FFE) within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience managing incentive plans, CRM data governance, segmentation, and call plans at affiliate or regional level.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and CRM platforms (Veeva CRM, Salesforce); experience with Power BI highly valued.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international, and fast-paced environments.
- Resilient, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities with a solution-driven mindset.
