About This Role:

As a Business Analyst in our centralized global function, you will play a pivotal role in managing the internal and external non-employee workforce. With a focus on procurement operations, you will support stakeholders throughout the contracting and non-employee management processes. Partnering with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) operator, you will coordinate day-to-day operations, identify data errors, and optimize processes for improved efficiency. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining the seamless flow of operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. You will be working within a diverse and dynamic environment, collaborating across various functions, to help drive success and support Biogen's strategic objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage relationships with the VMS operator and ensure service delivery performance.
  • Act as an escalation point for MSP in SOW Program.
  • Identify operational gaps and develop innovative solutions using a data-driven approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to address operational challenges.
  • Design and document reporting and data strategies for management information.
  • Ensure program compliance with Internal Audit recommendations and SOPs.
  • Support SOC/SOX reporting and analysis.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for continuous monitoring of KPIs.
  • Partner with support functions for vendor onboarding process optimization.
  • Maintain and develop Vendor Management Procedures.
  • Deliver enterprise-grade solutions leveraging VMS technology and tools.
  • Support data-driven decision-making with data collection, analysis, and recommendations.

Required Skills:

  • Master's degree preferred in supply chain, business, IT, or communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI and SAP Fieldglass.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, such as data analyst or category manager.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask effectively.
  • Experience in Agile projects and technical documentation is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in creating technical documentation.
  • Strong negotiating, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior management personnel.
