About the Role

The Associate Director, Business Insights & Planning plays a critical leadership role in shaping the strategic direction of data analysis within Patient Services (PS) across North America. This individual will lead the development of insights and analytics that inform and enhance patient support services, with a focus on Operations and strategic initiatives. The role requires a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive performance, efficiency, and innovation across the PS organization. The Associate Director will also champion data integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement in data management practices, while fostering a culture of data literacy and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver strategic insights and performance metrics to Operations leadership through regular meetings and trend monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional analytics teams to integrate and share insights across the business
  • Provide PS metrics and ad hoc analysis to support divisional leadership meetings, field operations, and strategic planning
  • Develop dashboards and analytics to support pilot programs and cost-saving initiatives
  • Maintain Agent Performance reporting tools to support coaching and performance management within Operations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on process or system changes impacting patient data and metrics
  • Lead the development, monitoring, and targeting of department and employee performance metrics in collaboration with the Head of Operations and Business Insights leadership
  • Assess Patient Services data and generate insights in partnership with Field Leadership, Customer Data & Insights, and the Franchise Strategy & Operations Lead
  • Drive analytics and dashboard development for pilots and special initiatives in collaboration with the Business Strategy & Innovation team, Patient Innovation leadership, and external consultants
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering professional development, collaboration, and high performance
  • Serve as a valued member of the extended leadership team of Patient Services and Business Intelligence & Operations, contributing to strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives

Who You Are

You are a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven decision-making. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. You bring a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through actionable insights.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in analytics, business insights, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing direct reports and developing teams
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate insights to senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of patient services, specialty pharmacy operations, and healthcare data systems
  • Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard development
  • High attention to detail, data integrity, and compliance standards

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with SQL
  • Experience with Salesforce or other similar CRM systems

Job Level: Management

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $138,000.00-$190,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
