Transport Service Desk Agent

Job Description Summary

The Transport Service Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding transport operations across the EMEA region. This role ensures timely and effective handling of transport-related inquiries, incidents, and requests, contributing to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

• Respond to transport-related inquiries via email, and ticketing systems.
• Monitor transport flows and proactively communicate delays or disruptions.
• Log, track, and resolve incidents and complaints in collaboration with internal teams and external logistics partners.
• Support the coordination of urgent deliveries and exceptional transport requests.
• Contribute to process improvements and service quality enhancements.
• Report recurring issues and trends to the Transport Network Team.

Competencies, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a transport or customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
• Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ticketing tools.
• Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
