Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Develop and execute MRO procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal pricing and services levels.
Establishes, develops, and enhances good business relationships with suppliers as well as internal customers and intra-company multi-functional teams.
Monitor inventory levels of MRO supplies and collaborate with maintenance teams to meet operation's needs.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, including vendor consolidation and process improvements.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (maintenance, engineering and operations) to forecast MRO requirements.
Develops MRO team members for optimum performance of MRO supply and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
Performs analysis and prepares reports to support information related to established metrics and goals.
Stays up to date on market trends, new technologies and best practices in MRO procurement.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in MRO procurement or indirect purchasing.

Knowledge and Skills:
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must be a self-starter.
Good negotiating skills, ability to manage conflicts and multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented and ability to organize large amounts of work and data. This includes the need for good documentation practices.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Requires basic knowledge of average computer/PC skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, network systems (electronic mail), and internet applications.
Plans effectively and works as a team.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
This position requires good judgement, innovation, the ability to solve practical problems and the efficiency to deal with multiple priorities and variables at the same time.
All activities shall be carried out following applicable company procedures and policies.
Must be of good moral character, high integrity, and ethical.
Position requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and a good understanding of statistical concepts.
Professional degree level mathematical skills.
