Summary

The Hazardous Drug Solutions (HDS) platform is focused on protecting healthcare workers globally by providing products and technology solutions to enable the safe preparation and administration of hazardous drugs. As the innovator and leader in the space, BD's portfolio of HDS Products is recognized for their best-in-class performance and ease-of-use. The HDS business has high growth expectations in the near term and is part of BD's Medical Delivery Solutions (MDS) business unit, which, at ~$4B, is the largest of BD's business units.

The Senior Manager of Global Marketing role will be accountable for driving growth and performance for BD's global portfolio of Closed System Transfer Devices (CSTDs), including the BD PhaSeal and PhaSeal Optimaproduct portfolios. Responsibilities include driving global revenue and profitability metrics by developing and executing downstream commercial tactics, assessing and executing market development activities, generating and creating content to drive sales globally, and managing the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to develop and implement commercialization plans for BD's portfolio of CSTDs
  • Develop and execute global launch plans to support near-term global launches
  • Develop, deploy, and measure the impact of marketing campaigns and market shaping activities
  • Use analytics and customer insights to maintain deep market and customer knowledge using a combination market research, internal and external data sources, and external trends and competitive landscapes
  • Make recommendations to senior leaders on geographic expansion opportunities, product lifecycle management strategies and actively collaborate with innovation team on new product and strategic development opportunities.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or Technical Discipline
  • MBA/Master's or Pharm. D. degree preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in product management within medical device or related industry

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of pharmacy compounding workflows highly preferred
  • Proven ability to "lead without authority" and influence others in a matrixed organization
  • Able to use sound, independent reasoning and judgment to establish work priorities and identify ways to optimize project timelines and to mitigate project risks/delays.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Proven ability to work in high-paced environment and routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • High integrity and ethics and strong fit with BD values

Travel

  • 25%+ global travel required
