Job Description Summary

As a Sales Representative, you report to the Sales Manager for Austria & Switzerland and you are responsible for the proactive sales of BDI products in the fields of hernia care and hemostasis.

Location: Field Based, Swizerland WEST, ideally located in the greater Lausanne area.

We are flexible! This position can be either full time or part time based on need and individual agreement.

Main tasks:

  • Manage the Western Switzerland sales territory
  • Provide proactive customer support and acquire new clients on-site and in the OR
  • Execute engaging sales campaigns, trainings, and impactful customer presentations
  • Daily support for users in the operating room
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and opinion leaders in the market
  • Implement tailored, profit-driven sales strategies focused on sales excellence
  • Analyze the market and competitors to stay one step ahead
  • Maximize revenue and market share through effective sales initiatives
  • Be responsible for outstanding sales results and achieving sales goals

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in a medical/scientific field or equivalent clinical qualification/training (e.g., nursing, surgical nursing), sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare market as well as anatomy & physiology
  • Fluent in English, French, Italian, and German (preferred); highly proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with CRM systems.
  • Highly empathetic networker with a confident presence, results-driven, communicates well at all levels, and brings a strong hands-on mentality
  • Self-initiative, independent, quality-conscious, and reliable working style
  • Driver's license (Category B)
  • Willingness to travel, mainly within the territory, but also to trade fairs and congresses in Switzerland and Europe
