Job Description Summary

A project manager is a professional who executes and leads a team through the project life cycle by planning, budgeting, scheduling and tracking a project plan. The project plan thoroughly explains how the project will be executed and includes a budget, timeline, schedule, roles and responsibilities among other things.

Project managers play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects. They are accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project.

Job Description

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of project. Execute and delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Ensuring all task are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serving as a point of contact for project escalation to plant and outside stakeholder
  • Communicating and coordinating well with project team to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Perform risk management tominimizeproject risks
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities
