Job Description Summary

Medication safety & automation represents a strategic growth area for BD. The Product Specialist will be responsible to manage mainly 2nd and 3rd tier application support for our divers BD software and hardware product portfolio for hospital and pharmacy environments all over Europe.

The person will work closely with the implementation teams, R&D and Quality to ensure utmost customer satisfaction.

We are flexible! This position can be either full time or part time based on need and individual agreement

Key Responsibilities

  • 2nd and 3rd tier Application Support for our diverse Software and Hardware hospital and pharmacy product portfolio (Telephone/E-mail)
  • Software application trainings for customers remote and onsite within all regions in scope
  • Close collaboration cross-functional and cross-regional with project management, integration teams, implementation teams, R&D, Quality
  • Problem assessment and resolution
  • Bug analysis and documentation
  • Supporting during onboarding processes of new team members
  • Following medical device process requirement

About You

  • High customer and service orientation
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • Solution orientation and analytical skills
  • Creative and proactive mindset paired with team spirit
  • Solid IT and technical understanding
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex software application - workflow - hardware and integration requests
  • Stress resistant and resilient
  • Ability to travel up to 25% with Europe
  • Fluency in both German and English is required

Desirable:

  • Pharmaceutical and/ or technical background
  • Experience within hospital environments
  • Experience with medical devices
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is considered a strong asset : Polish, Danish, Dutch, Italian, Norwegian, or Swedish

Candidates with additional language skills will be prioritized, as this supports our diverse customer base across Europe.
