Global Integrated Engineer II - EPI Europe

Job Description Summary

You will join BD's Global Engineering team to lead the full integration and implementation of new equipment at designated BD manufacturing sites. This role is instrumental in supporting capital investment projects related to capacity expansion and breakthrough technology. You will coordinate installation, validation, ramp-up, and the transfer of technical know-how to site teams-ensuring performance, safety, and business continuity throughout the process.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end integration of new production equipment, including installation, validation, vertical start-up, and handover to local teams.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) alongside design engineering teams.
  • Document equipment procedures, process parameters, and safety instructions while preparing installation and commissioning plans.
  • Provide on-site training and technical support to ensure operational readiness and sustained performance post-installation.
  • Ensure full compliance with BD's quality systems, EHS policies, and relevant international manufacturing standards.
  • Optimize equipment performance (OEE), identify performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or related fields).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in equipment integration, validation, and project management.
  • Strong understanding of industrial validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and equipment lifecycle documentation.
  • Proven knowledge of quality and EHS standards, along with compliance and regulatory practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects independently, with a hands-on and results-driven approach.
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); experience in the MedTech industry is a strong asset.
