The Country Finance Director is responsible for leading all financial operations within a specific country, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies. This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and reporting, while providing strategic insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Job Description

Responsible for the management of all financial activities in Mexico as well as providing information to different areas of the company.

Main tasks:
• Provide monthly financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss account analysis.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and annual operating plans.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and controls.
• Prepare financial reports to be presented at executive level meetings.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide feedback on variances.
• Coordinate cash flow projections and monitor banking facilities.
• Assist with the negotiation of contracts, leases, insurance claims etc.
• Lead special projects as required by business or finance leaders.
• Ensure internal controls are maintained and complied with.
• Supervise the staff within the department.
• Monitor and ensure appropriate control environment over financial reporting process.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance. Master's degree preferred.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification desirable.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex processes across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Previous experience working in a shared services center will be an advantage.
