As a BD Bioscience Engineer, you are in charge of maintenance, repair & installation of our Flow Cytometers at client site.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues
- Carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs and corrective field change orders on Flow Cytometry instrumentation.
- Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software and laser failures using established procedures and techniques.
- Determine the most efficient repair/solution to ensure minimum downtime.
- Perform instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).
- Actively manage your car stock, ensuring all vital spare parts and tools are available.
- Effective management of technical escalations.
- Cover the Netherlands with occasional travel throughout the Benelux area.

Your profile:
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or meaningful experience. You are very solution-oriented and customer-centric. Others describe you as a very hardworking person that can adapt easily to new technologies. Some IT knowledge (such as network diagnosis and system connectivity) is a huge plus. You have a driver's license and are currently living within a daily commutable distance of the center of Benelux.
