Engineer II, Process (Temporary)

Provides support for manufacturing processes, validation and implementation of changes in processes and products, updating manufacturing methods
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize manufacturing processes, including the use of engineering methods (for example, SIX Sigma and Lean methods) for the continuous improvement of the process and / or redesign / design of equipment, tools, accessories, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, using technical design techniques
• Develop moderately complex experiments and tests (including writing and execution of protocols) to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports
• Ensure that the processes under your property comply with current practices through the process of change control.
• Analyze and solve basic manufacturing and compliance problems (for example, CAPA, non-conformities, audit observations ).
• Develop training and documentation materials (for example, work instructions) for production in order to allow the uninterrupted transfer of knowledge of the manufacturing processes and projects.
• Identify opportunities for the redesign / design of basic equipment, tools, accessories, etc. to improve manufacturing processes
• Supervise manufacturing support tasks; give instructions to the technicians about conducting tests; train technicians and provide feedback; and coordinate the technical work.
• Other additional tasks may be assigned by the area leader
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field, 2 Years years experience of previous experience Required
Previous experience working with laboratory / industrial equipment Preferred
CAD experience Preferred
Additional Skills:
• Good computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite
• Good documentation, communication (for example, written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills, including consulting skills and relationship management
• Basic knowledge of statistical techniques
• Solid understanding and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts relevant to Engineering
• Solid problem solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Solid knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the assigned work.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage competitive priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Ability to build productive internal / external productive relationships.
• Ability to comply with the standards, regulations, procedures and quality manuals applicables.
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
