Job Description Summary:

As the Commercial HRBP you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's success by aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. Your expertise will guide and empower associates, managers, and leaders across ANZ Business Units.

The HRBP also translates business needs to effectively attract, engage, build, and retain talent in the Organization. This critical role provides Business Partnering to our Commercial Business Units to ensure alignment across all facets of HR and our organizational goals.

Key accountabilities:

  • Deliver/Execute HR initiatives that directly contribute to ANZ Business Unit's growth and success.
  • Consult and Coach Commercial Leaders and their teams with attracting, retaining, and developing talent for Organisation & Team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with managers on Strategic Organisation Planning, assessing, and identifying future talent and capability needs/gaps within the Organisation.
  • Work on executing the workforce plan and strategy in line with the future strategic imperatives.
  • Act as the escalation point for associates and managers on performance management, career conversation, talent selection, talent movement and employee relations issues.
  • Promote and enhance user adoption of HR programs by providing country/site insights.
  • Collaborate with HR Service Delivery and Centers of Excellence (COE) teams to optimize program delivery.
  • Provide expertise in implementing, administering, and managing short and long-term incentive plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and individual performance.
  • Manage sensitive associate data for headcount reporting requirements, forecasting workforce needs and collaborating with finance and BU Leaders to ensure accuracy of information and overall budget management.
  • Ensure compliance, fairness, and equity in all the HR policies, benefits, and incentive programs. Keep updated with market trend/insights to ensure BD remain competitive in market.
  • Lead and manage change management initiatives to drive large scale change processes, facilitate and observe group dynamics to manage change program and employee engagement.
  • Establish a positive, engaging, and conducive environment through structured communications and engagement with associates.
  • Works collaboratively across local and regional teams.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years as a HR generalist business partner or similar
  • Relevant formal qualifications in HR or related fields
  • MedTech industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in headcount budgeting and workforce planning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive change.
  • Applied knowledge of Australian legislation, regulations, and frameworks
  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work at pace with ambiguity and juggle/prioritise tasks.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated.
  • Well-developed reporting and analytical skills - min. Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Some interstate travel may be required.
