Job Overview

The Associate Finance Director for our Advanced Access Devices (AAD) business will contribute to the financial success of our organization by providing insightful analysis, strategic guidance, and effective leadership. As a critical member of the AAD team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our mission of advancing the world of health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the AAD Leadership Team, as well as additional reports to analyze and assess business and operating conditions as needed. Direct the AAD annual budgeting and Annual Strategic Review processes.
  • Deliver insightful analysis to uncover risks and opportunities, contributing to budget-beating performance.
  • Support new business development initiatives, including R&D business cases, acquisitions, divestitures, licenses, and product development.
  • Contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, assessing global demand and supply estimates, and identifying risks and opportunities to deliver financial commitments.
  • Generate executive-friendly presentations summarizing analysis and financials/business cases.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the Gross Profit Task Force team, working to deliver gross profit improvement.
  • Develop and coach direct reports and mentor other finance associates as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of financial analysis and reporting experience in addition to having finance business partner experience required
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel required and working knowledge of SAP, FSM, and BPC preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • People leadership experience required
  • Finance experience with a multi-national and matrixed organization strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly visible role that will interact with individuals at all organizational levels, internal and external, and at remote locations required
