As the primary point of contact for our customers, the Account Manager WH&C plays a vital role in promoting, educating, and driving sales of IDS's Women's Health and Cancer product portfolio. This position involves building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, key opinion leaders, diagnosticians, cytoscreeners, pathomorphologists, laboratory technicians, and decision-makers.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and strengthen partnerships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, diagnosticians, cytoscreeners, pathomorphologists, laboratory technicians, and decision-makers.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM database (Salesforce.com), tracking account activities, opportunities, risks, and customer contacts.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and meetings.
  • Manage the preparation and processing of tenders, collaborating closely with the Sales & Product Specialist and Sales Manager.
  • Oversee product complaints, ensuring proper documentation and customer communication.
  • Gather and analyze market insights, including trends and competitor activity, while contributing ideas for concept development.
  • Support the execution of product portfolio strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.
  • Coordinate product training sessions for specific target audiences, working with the WHC Application Specialist, and conduct demonstrations and validations for potential customers.
  • Uphold BD's corporate philosophy and foster collaboration across all customer groups.

About you

  • Degree in laboratory medicine, biology, or biotechnology; knowledge in cytology and/or molecular biology is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of proven success in a sales-related role within the diagnostic industry.
  • Strong understanding of molecular biology and cytology laboratory processes and techniques.
  • Experience collaborating with physicians, especially gynecologists and oncologists, is beneficial.
  • Awareness of emerging market trends in cervical cancer screening.
  • Fluency in the local language is required, along with a strong command of English.
