Job Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for all activities of the assigned accounts including but not limited to new business development, pricing strategy, inventory management, promotional strategies, marketing programs, sales force effectiveness, customer service, training, administration, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, credit and collections, technical support, compliance, human resources, risk management, and safety. The position reports directly to Sales Director of the respective franchise within BD Korea.

Responsibilities
1) Manage sales team(s), including setting objectives, providing feedback, coaching, motivating, developing, disciplining, and terminating employees as appropriate;
2) Lead the process of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers at major accounts, including medical staff, hospital administration, and purchasing agents;
3) Assist in identifying trends and opportunities within the account base through review of account data, analysis of territory performance, and monitoring competitive activity;
4) Work closely with marketing to develop and implement marketing plans which target specific customers or groups of customers;
5) Provide input into product design, pricing strategy, and promotional strategy based on knowledge of customer needs and preferences;
6) Communicate internally and externally (e.g., with corporate headquarters, distributors, vendors, group purchasing organizations, etc.) on matters relating to the operation of the business;
7) Negotiate contracts with hospitals/clinics, group purchasing organizations, and other large institutional accounts;
8) Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts for each account;
9) Monitor sales performance against budget and adjust tactics accordingly;
10) Train sales representatives on products, competition, selling techniques, and customer relations;

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 3-7 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in healthcare industry preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of medical device industry and related regulations
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
