Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for large-cap and middle market corporate clients and financial sponsors such as: buy and sell-side M&A, inclusive of cross-border transactions, as well as capital markets processes, including debt and equity offerings.
  • Perform execution and due diligence processes for investment banking transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements and other documents related to investment banking transactions.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deal execution, coverage and origination and liaise with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g.
  • lawyers, accountants, counterparties).
  • Attend client meetings with prospective buyers in sell-side M&A processes, including management presentations, coordination meetings and due diligence sessions.
  • Support internal transaction and capital commitment committee processes such as Fairness Committee, Equity Commitment Committee and Investment Grade and Leveraged Finance Committee.
  • Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.
  • Execute investment banking transactions and processes in a global bulge bracket firm environment, including both M&A and capital markets products on domestic and on cross-border basis.
  • Prepare financial models and analysis, including detailed valuation analysis, such as: LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis among others.
  • Conduct research using Euromonitor, Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Factiva to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.
  • Prepare materials for clients and participating in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or related: and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
  • Must have 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Executing investment banking transactions and processes in a global bulge bracket firm environment, including both M&A and capital markets products on domestic and on cross-border basis;
  • Preparing financial models and analysis, including detailed valuation analysis, such as: LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis among others;
  • Conducting research using Euromonitor, Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Factiva to analyze market data and competitive dynamics; and,
  • Preparing materials for clients and participating in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel, as necessary.

Pay range

$275,000.00 - $275,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
