Team Overview

Our Global Sustainable Banking Solutions Group (SBSG) is a part of Global Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America. The team provides expertise on sustainability matters affecting our clients' financing needs, valuation, and strategic decisions. SBSG works in close collaboration with other teams within the Corporate and Investment Bank, including Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM), across a broad spectrum of solutions, including sustainable-themed financing transactions and providing insights. Our team has been actively growing in the last few years, welcoming people from varied backgrounds who each bring unique skillsets and perspectives.

Responsibilities

Your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Work in close collaboration with Capital Markets, Corporate Banking and Investment Banking divisions on origination and execution of sustainable-themed transactions, M&A and IPO transactions in EMEA
  • Develop a strong understanding of how investors integrate sustainability in their investment decisions
  • Keep up to date with sustainability trends across sectors and geographies
  • Contribute to a broad array of sustainability-related topics and solutions
  • Help to deliver high-quality, timely, focused analysis related to sustainability issues, such as transitions plans
  • Support the preparation of marketing materials
  • Our Analyst position is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience in sustainability, whilst still benefiting from exposure to and connectivity with the other groups within the bank

What we are looking for

  • Candidates pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Academic semester and all studies should be complete, with a graduation timeframe between September 2025 - June 2026
  • Team player, proactive, independent, enthusiastic self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • A curious and creative spirit with a strong business development attitude
  • Ability to analysis large quantities of data/ information and summarize them
  • Great attention to detail
  • Outstanding ability to use MS Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint skills and desire to learn more applications e.g Bloomberg
  • Confident verbal, written communication and networking skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Applications are accepted from a diverse range of degree disciplines (e.g., arts and humanities, economics, mathematics, science and engineering), and those studying Environmental Management, Environmental Economics, Sustainable Finance or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English (required) and French (preference)
