Job Description:
This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building, and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Test/Automation team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the test scripts written in UFT and Selenium. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions that meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, VB scripting or any other Programming languages. As a test automation developer, he/she will apply industry accepted coding practices for developing the Automated test suite. As a Manual and Automation tester, he/she will apply approved testing process and industry accepted Testing, Coding practices and follow regular Code check in and check out process for helping in improving the overall quality of the application under test. Proficiency in testing the application on various devices.
Responsibilities:
- Develops detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Leads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria.
- Leads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
- Identifies automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types.
- Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results.
- Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments.
- Uses testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and perform necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years of strong experience in UFT/Selenium Automation & Agile Methodology.
- Good hands-on overall testing process like Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Risk Mitigation Testing, Smoke Testing etc.
- Design, implement, test, modify and utilize test harnesses, automated solutions, and test.
- Knowledge in Automation Testing & Services Testing. Demonstrate experience with CI/CD tools to integrate testing tools into continuous delivery pipeline.
- Solid experience in API testing.
- Experience with Test Management tools like - ALM and JIRA.
- Expertise in preparing the Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases & Test Data Setup.
- Execute both manual and automated tests meticulously, logging results and capturing screenshots or recordings of any issues identified and documenting the defects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Banking industry standards and quality management systems.
