Job Description:

This role is expected by Shanghai FCY payment ops team which mainly focus on foreign currency Payment processing as well as associated regulatory reporting. The team business coverage includes but not limited to compliance document check, transaction processing, relevant regulatory reporting, related procedure maintenance, project, QA etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Process FCY related payment and ensure fully compliant with external regulation and internal policy.
  • Monitor investigation of exceptional cases, pending payment and instruction to ensure proper and timely follow up or escalation by the team.
  • Assist line manager/team lead to drive operation excellence and optimize daily operation process flow.
  • Assist line manager to review/update procedure on regular/ad-hoc basis.
  • Handle/coordinate ad-hoc regulator survey/inspection to ensure follow through effectively.
  • Engage in projects as expertise representing FCY payment, including BRD & UAT case preparation, UAT testing etc.
  • Communicate effectively with business partner and client for operation resolution, new regulation/product implementation etc.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager/team lead, like but not limited to QA, post monitoring, self-inspection, EE activities.

Skills:

  • 5+ years' relevant working experience in FCY Payment processing and at least 1 year in checker's role.
  • Be familiar with SAFE regulation, swift rule, FCY payment related regulatory reporting etc.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skill.
  • Excellent risk control mindset and client satisfactory orientation.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skill is preferred.
