The Team:

We are expanding our Corporate Banking team in the Nordics and are looking for a Director to join the team. In this role you will act as senior client manager for key clients across the Nordics portfolio. As well as having increasing amounts of responsibility for your relationships including targeted client additions to the portfolio you will also be involved in handling all aspects of major client relationships, including advice, direction, coordination and execution of various transactions.

Responsibilities:

As a core member of the Nordics Corporate Banking team you will:

  • Act as the senior client manager for key clients
  • You will manage, develop and direct resources and activities across the Bank's global franchise in order to deliver the full suite of products and services
  • Originate, build and manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis and provide a point of contact
  • Manage multi-product origination efforts within the integrated coverage model and ensure internal partnerships are seamless and efficient
  • Originate business and offer all the products the Bank can offer to each client
  • Provide market informed judgements on a broad array of financing strategies to address client specific needs
  • Structure, prepare and deliver content led presentations
  • Be responsible for ensuring the Bank's activities are conducted in a compliant and risk free manner
  • Manage and mentor junior professionals in the context of deal executions, marketing pitches and general career development

What we are looking for :

  • Excellent client relationships, marketing, presentation and sales skills
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Proven track record in client management and new business origination
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required
  • You will have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously & working effectively as an individual & as part of a team
  • Fluency in English is essential and a second language from one of the Nordics countries would be a plus but is not required
  • Experience at another US investment bank or major Nordic investment bank
