RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, report and escalate risks, issues and control enhancements to Front Line Units/ Control Function (FLU/CF) management.
- Address inquiries, exams and audits (by regulators, exchanges and internal groups).
- Work with front line units to ensure day to day activities operate in compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
- Provide advice and guidance to FLU/CF on applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Oversee operational risk matters, such as operational loss events.
- Conduct periodic thematic reviews.
- Participate in strategic initiatives (internal or regulator-driven) in the Business and in Compliance and Operational Risk.
- Identify training needs, conduct in-person training and contribute to training curriculum.
- Update relevant policies and procedures to reflect regulatory requirements for FLU/CF.
- Conduct risk assessments, prepare annual CCO reports, and monitor the effectiveness of front-line risk controls.
- Assist in the execution of governance and management routines.
- Provide independent compliance and operational risk oversight of global markets sales and trading businesses, challenge and drive performance in alignment with compliance and operational risk management policies applicable to global markets activities and operations.
- Provide subject matter expertise to assist the global markets businesses in establishing an annual learning plan and developing and delivering training content.
- Utilize knowledge of global markets sales and trading business practices to provide proactive identification, oversight and escalation of compliance and operational risks through the execution of risk management program elements.
- Implement appropriate Compliance and Operational Risk controls, policies and procedures utilizing knowledge of existing regulatory framework, emerging risks and industry best practice related to Credit markets, including Investment Grade, High Yield, Distressed and Emerging Markets Bonds.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related and
- 7 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
- Must include 7 years of experience in each of the following:
- Providing independent compliance and operational risk oversight of global markets sales and trading businesses, challenging and driving performance in alignment with compliance and operational risk management policies applicable to global markets activities and operations;
- Providing subject matter expertise to assist the global markets businesses in establishing an annual learning plan and developing and delivering training content;
- Utilizing knowledge of global markets sales and trading business practices to provide proactive identification, oversight and escalation of compliance and operational risks through the execution of risk management program elements; and,

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$270,000.00 - $280,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
