Job Description:
This job is responsible for distributing debt or equity products to an assigned account base. Key responsibilities include determining which products best meet client's needs and developing new approaches to meet client's needs and market dynamics. Job expectations may include studying market relationships and current market conditions to increase account/market penetration.

This job is within the Business Consulting team in Prime Financing. Key responsibilities include a focus on hedge fund structuring, regulatory developments in the Alts industry and advising clients on a range of commercial considerations when dealing with institutional investors. Job expectations may include research on capital structures for different investors .

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Prime Advisory team on a range of client engagement, specifically covering legal and regulatory market developments
  • Analyzes hedge fund client product positioning
  • Provides input to clients on industry best practices
  • Develops and executes strategies for increased client engagement with investors
  • Contributes to client events

The Prime Financing team is seeing an NYC-based Associate to join the Consulting team, supporting hedge fund client engagement. The role will combine a mix of more technical expertise within the context of the broader sales organization. Strong communication skills are needed to engage across the team as well as with the firm's hedge fund clients.

Consulting Associate

  • 3y+ of Hedge Fund Product Experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills (written and oral)
  • Legal Background preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence, and conscientiousness
  • Strong desire and ability to drive efficiencies
  • Creative in Problem Solving / Idea Generation
  • Works Well across Business Lines
  • Excellent Partnership and Communication Skills

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$150,000.00 - $225,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
