Role Description:

This position sits within Bank of America's Global Investment Banking team, based in Zurich. You will play a central role in executing transactions and providing strategic advisory services including idea generation, preparation of client materials, reviewing and creating financial analysis as well as preparing internal committee memos. You will gain significant exposure to clients, senior bankers, peers and expand your analytical and communications capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Performing financial analysis including valuation, benchmarking, merger modelling and other analytical exercises

• Preparing client presentations including marketing materials, management and board materials, information memoranda for use in M&A transactions or strategic dialogues

• Collaborating and participating in the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions including project coordination, financial analyses, valuation, due diligence and deal documentation

• Conducting in-depth company and industry research to identify trends and opportunities and support idea generation

• Building relationships and working closely with colleagues across product, sector and regional teams

What we are looking for:

• Relevant full-time experience in Investment Banking with a bank or M&A boutique

• Understanding of financial concepts, including financial modelling, valuation techniques and accounting principles

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and other stakeholders

• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and with multiple teams

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Fluency in German and English; additional language skills are a plus
