Our Business

Global Investment Banking focuses on building long-term relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. We have cultivated a 'best in class' reputation by providing strong advisory expertise and capitalizing on powerful M&A, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions.

The Infrastructure & Utilities practice provides strategic and event driven advisory services to clients globally across transport, infrastructure, power and utilities sectors. We advise infrastructure clients throughout their lifecycle, from development, construction, operations and monetisation. We also have strong connectivity with global infrastructure investors, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds.

Notable Australian and New Zealand transactions recently include:

  • Brookfield consortium's acquisition of AusNet Services
  • Powering Australia Renewables' (PowAR) acquisition of Tilt Renewables
  • The IPO of Dalrymple Bay Infrastructure

We require an Analyst to join the market leading Infrastructure & Utilities team as it continues to grow.

Duties include

  • Ability to operate as project / deal team lead, driving the work product and transaction processes
  • Participate in the execution of equity and debt financing and M&A transactions
  • Perform in-depth financial, valuation, product and industry analysis, and due diligence
  • Prepare pitch books, client presentations and help create live deal materials
  • Build financial / three-statement operating/ leveraged buyout models
  • Attend client meetings as you build your network and experience
  • Help to generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe

  • Investment Banking experience ideally within transport, infrastructure, power or utilities, or M&A
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Modelling experience and detailed market sector knowledge
  • Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • A bachelor's degree plus 1+ years of investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, modelling/valuation or consulting experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication
