Warehouse Associate (Temporary)
Job Description
As Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, processing and outbound shipment of products at our central returns warehouse. This role involves unloading trailers, scanning barcodes, staging products by category, refurbishing items for sale as discounted open box items for our Outlet retail store in Burlingame, California, and maintaining accurate records. The Warehouse Associate will also guide temporary employees in material handling tasks, prepare products for shipping, and participate in strategy meetings. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and excels at time management.
This full-time position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is based in Burlingame CA. This role is expected to work in the Central Returns Warehouse, Monday through Friday.
What you’ll do:
- Receive product, unload trailers and scan barcodes to ensure accurate inventory tracking
- Stage products on the warehouse floor by category. Identify and sort products suitable for refurbishing for sale as open box items at our retail Outlet in Burlingame, California
- Wrap pallets and prepare product for shipping. Load and schedule outbound trailers
- Inventory reporting by updating Excel-based reports for receipts, shipping manifests and inspection results
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all records and reports
- Lead and direct temporary employees in material handling tasks. Provide training and guidance to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Quality control inspections to segregate damage and defective product. Pass/fail is determined by visual inspection and testing
- Participate in strategy meetings via Zoom to discuss and implement initiatives and share status updates
What you bring to the table:
- 2+ years of warehouse experience preferrably in reverse logistics and/or shipping & receiving
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and use pallet jacks
- Proficiency in using barcode scanners, MS Office and productivity apps
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication for collaboration with on-site and remote teams
Notes: This is a temporary position, expected to last through January 2026.

The base pay rate for this position is: $21.00-26.00 per hour.
