Responsibilities

The Senior Associate, Client Support supports a team of wealth advisors in serving client relationships. This position requires a basic understanding of the financial markets, investment strategies and types of investments, allocation models, life insurance, and can perform a wide range of client centric services, with knowledge of industry nomenclature. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and duties in support of the wealth advisors' client engagements and confidential projects. The duties require the astute knowledge and experience in working on Security platforms such as Fidelity and Charles Schwab, as well as on wealth management platforms such as Orion (or other performance reporting systems) Salesforce (CRM), eMoney (or simply financial planning tool) and paperless automation, such as DocuSign, SharePoint. Strong excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding and Account Maintenance
    • Filling out new client paperwork and following up about signatures
    • Updating new accounts and creating reporting groups, client portals, households (Salesforce, Orion, & eMoney)
    • Account updates, ongoing paperwork for account changes
    • Tax season: Gathering 1099s, K-1s and other tax related documents
    • Maintain client data in CRM system
    • Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Perform investment, tax and personal planning research
    • Perform operation aspects on the Schwab and Fidelity custodian platforms
    • Arrange capital calls, wires and checks for clients
    • Helping clients manage margin and PALs (pledged asset lines)
  • Quarterly Reconciliation and Reporting
    • Reconciling client groups, producing reports and uploading them into client portal
  • This position will serve the central region team. As a result, the standard working hours would flex between 7 am central - 6 pm central, depending upon the agreed upon schedule. At a minimum the team member's typical day would be from 9 am central to 4 pm central depending on the time zone they reside in.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Personal Finance, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant discipline.
  • Series 65 is desired.
  • Strong excel skills are required.
  • 1 - 3 years of wealth management financial services experience is preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Relationship management
  • Experience with the following platforms preferred
    • Fideltiy
    • TD Ameritrade
    • Salesforce
    • eMoney
    • Morningstar
    • Orion
  • Time management skills
  • Self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality
