Job Purpose and Description

Process Engineer will be responsible for managing our water treatment equipment projects from contract origin to commissioning at our clients. Projects require large amounts of communication with the project team and clients, including contractors. It is imperative that you are professional and own the team’s success.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the design development of water treatment systems. Able to perform and assist in developing Process Engineering, P&ID drawings, plant layouts, skid assembly drawings.
  2. Prepare equipment specifications and design documents for client review, skid fabrication, and operation.
  3. Understand GA drawing and direct the subcontractor on the construction site
  4. Travel up to 80%, at times more.
  5. Performs special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent with five to eight years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Five years of ultra-pure water system experience, including reverse osmosis, membrane degasification, ultra-filtration, and ion exchange equipment

Five years’ experience in pumps and piping systems, SS, PVC, PP, and PVDF

Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner:

  1. Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  2. Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction.
  3. Standing and walking for sustained periods of time.
  4. Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time.
  5. Using the upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
  6. Sometimes working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
