Sitecore Solution Architect (Customer Experience)

You will be passionate about web development and delivering high quality, fast, secure and accessible solutions that put user experience front and centre. What you'll do

* Designing composable solutions that leverage best-of-breed technologies

* Planning solution delivery with delivery leads, defining milestones and dependencies

* Hands-on delivery of complex components and POCs

* Leading teams of engineers in delivering high quality solutions

* Working collaboratively with Business Analysts to define requirements

* Working with front-end, user interface developers to deliver performant, component driven solutions across a variety of styles such as SPAs, headless & MVC

* Working collaboratively with user experience and visual design teams to ensure UI designs align with strategic goals.

* Ensuring that all deliveries meet acceptance criteria and that software engineering quality standards are upheld.

* Participating in agile sprint ceremonies and presenting in showcases.

* Actively working to ensure delivery quality through measures such as code scanning, pull-requests and adherence to software standards

* Supporting communities of practice through innovation and knowledge sharing

* Supporting test teams to understand how to test and configure solutions

* Support content authors in using new system components

* Contributing to solutioning of new projects through solution definition and providing development estimates.

* Production of comprehensive solution documentation

* Ensure that the client's data protection framework is followed for sensitive personal data in accordance with Client Data Protection program.

Skills and experiences

* Strong experience in software engineering using Sitecore technologies

* An understanding of Sitecore Headless, the impact of migration to headless and XM Cloud

* Deep industry experience working with Sitecore, ideally with a Sitecore certification

* Experience with using Azure DevOps or a similar DevOps platform, leveraging Git based source control and CI/CD automation

* Experience mentoring junior software developers

* Deep understanding of Web Development and component-based design concepts

* Experience in SQL, Rest APIs and cloud native development

* Experience in the Azure platform, with knowledge of infrastructure and services available

* Experience in content migration into Sitecore, developing scripted migration approaches using tools such as Sitecore API, Sitecore CLI, Sitecore PowerShell Extension or .NET-based migration.

* Experienced in Agile concepts, ceremonies, and practices

* Collaborative remote working experience

* Understanding of Node.js/Next.js and React JS
