The Services Team is dedicated to growing Avanade's direct business through proactive partnerships with Sales and Practice teams, fostering deep relationships with Microsoft, and breaking down internal silos to better serve our clients.

The ERP Presales Sr. Director - Manufacturing is accountable for partnering with sales to assist with originating, solutioning, qualifying, negotiating and closing deals. This role focuses on activating sales strategy for D365 Finance and Supply Chain Managment for the Industrial Manufacturing industry and cross selling into related areas. For individual opportunities, this role will focus on understanding the client value and mapping that into the solution designed by the Avanade Solution Desk. Successful applicants will be someone who combines deep expertise, experience and knowledge the Industrial Manufacturing industry, understands manufacturing processes, trends and challenges, and is able to articulate how the D365 application suite can be leveraged to help manufacturers achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with clients and partners at the C-suite level able and demonstrate a proven track record of success in driving sales growth in clients in the manufacturing sector.

Business Growth

Achieve sales growth targets in assigned manufacturing clients

Partner with Sales to develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential client accounts for assigned specialty

Manage key client relationships and collaborate with others, where appropriate, to drive business growth

Engage with clients to clarify client needs and translate them into potential Avanade solution opportunities for assigned specialty

Partner with Solution Desk to configure bespoke solutions that meet the client' mid- to long-term needs

Collaborate internally and work as the client champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external client relationships and meet client needs

Knowledge and expertise in the Industrial Manufacturing industry

Proven sales experience and success

Expertise in specialty product, capability, service, solution or industry

Proven track record of solutioning and selling large-scale consulting engagements

Mature interpersonal and persuasion skills

Education, Certifications and Experience

Education and/or experience in the relevant field/business

Background in technology or consulting sales to Manufacturing industry, with proven experience in managing campaigns and partnerships within a territory.

Likely has 10+ years of experience in sales, presales or business development, assigned specialty, relationship building, acting as a trusted advisor to address customer needs, or driving sales in a solution-selling environment.

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable base salary range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, New York and Washington as set forth below and https://www.avanade.com/en/career/benefits
