Position Overview
Are you a experienced UX designer with a passion for creating beautiful solutions for important, impactful problems? Autodesk is looking for a Experience Designer to join our Fusion 360 Experience Design (XD) team to help and support a team of experienced designers focused on transforming the product design and manufacturing industry.
As an User experienced designer at Autodesk, you will apply your experience design skills to help craft the next generation of data management, design and manufacturing CAD tools for Autodesk Fusion 360. You'll work with a talented team of Experience Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to create compelling experiences that help our customers solve their most critical design and manufacturing challenges. Responsibilities
- Communicate customer requirements through storytelling, interactive prototypes, and detailed visual/functional design specifications
- Partner with Senior XDs to facilitate customer research to gain insights and inform better business and design decisions
- Partner with Sr XD, Product Management, Development, and other partners to prioritize and deliver quality customer experiences
- Create design/interaction patterns to guide customer experiences
- Partner with Leads for presentations and discussions with customers and company partners to validate designs
- Maintain familiarity with other Autodesk products and competitive products
Minimum Qualifications
- 2- 4 years experience in design or related field
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent work experience
- Sound Fundamentals in human-centered design best practices
- Experience with design and prototyping using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, and/or Sketch
- A quality portfolio of recent XD work or projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for applications spanning desktop & mobile experiences
- Experience within the fields of Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with 3D design/engineering/manufacturing software (Solidworks, Inventor, Pro/Engineer, etc)
