Position Overview

Autodesk's Water Infrastructure Solutions are industry-leading globally for the water industry for over 35 years. AWI solutions are used by thousands of clients including the largest utilities, ENR design firms, consultancies and refining plants around the world.

You will report to Global Business Development Manager-Autodesk Water (AWI). You are an experienced Technical Sales person focused on Channel Development who will join our team as a Technical Business Development Manager for Water Infrastructure in the EMEA region. You will lead the EMEA effort to support partners' technical enablement and go-to-market efforts. You will collaborate with channel partners and internal sales teams, to develop a channel sales enablement plan for our Water Infrastructure Solutions. Your primary focus will be on driving technical expertise, expanding partnership opportunities, and ensuring high-quality service to existing partners.

Position overview

  • You will be an AWI technical sales development subject matter expert and business consultant and collaborate with channel partners to support their business strategy contributing with the necessary technical expertise.
  • You will align with the WWS/EMEA channel sales, customer success and marketing teams to establish a go-to-market channel expansion plan in EMEA that is aligned to the Autodesk channel strategy and fulfillment model.
  • You will plan and support road shows, call-out days, and other events to build channel business pipeline and create marketing events to generate leads/pipeline
  • You will align with the EMEA Channel Sales Development Executive - Water Infrastructure on joint actions with focus Partners
  • You will provide technical guidance to EMEA Partners throughout the sales process to help investigate, uncover and understand a customer's business goals and pressures.
  • You will collaborate with Autodesk Partners' technical staff to ensure they are proficient using Autodesk software tools and help them to enhance their presentation abilities.
  • You will develop product and industry presentations and demonstrations in large forums that are Autodesk or Partner sponsored to generate sales
  • You will consult with AWI leadership teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to facilitate successful partner business plan execution.
  • You will help develop and implement training, certification, and support programs for the AWI channel.

Minimum requirements

  • You have a track record of at least 5 years in enabling an indirect channel to sell enterprise software and SaaS applications across the EMEA region.
  • You are fluent in English, and proficiency in a second EMEA language would be great
  • Deep knowledge of Autodesk Water Infrastructure (AWI) solutions is very helpful.
  • Excellent understanding of the software/SaaS VAR ecosystem and experience establishing and fostering strong partner relationships.
  • Ability to travel within the territory as required.
