Product designers, engineers, manufacturing specialists and countless other collaborators face daunting challenges bringing their ideas to life. As an Autodesk Senior Product Manager for the Fusion Digital Factory, your job will be to identify, articulate and ensure the delivery of valuable, differentiated solutions within the modern factory environment. In this role, you will be a key contributor, orchestrating a holistic set of solutions that span development to operate phases as well as across different industries, connecting the facility with the production process. You will help identify and influence our collaborative investments within the digital factory solutions space, inclusive of Autodesk and partner technologies. This role will require you to partner with domain/subject matter experts across Autodesk in order to ensure that we implement impactful, relevant and credible solutions for our customers with a platform approach.

In this role you will help to drive solution strategy, direction & prioritization, bridging technical and business worlds as you introduce new solutions that enable customers to develop and deliver compelling products and effectively operate their businesses. To be successful in this role, you must be results-driven, an enthusiastic self-starter and a strong collaborative leader.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the whole product/solution experience
  • Establish yourself as the subject matter expert within the Factory space
  • Clearly articulate user problems & solution objectives in order to guide experience and development teams
  • Identify and describe target customers, personas and ecosystem influencers
  • Coordinate the aligned efforts of contributing product managers within the Factory domain
  • Develop and articulate project intent, scope, timelines and deliverables
  • Create solution examples and workflow vignettes
  • Develop core messages describing solution/approach benefits
  • Evangelize internally and externally and at all levels, including sales, development, end users, executives, media & analysts
  • Plan and initiate market research and market sizing in order to identify/quantify opportunities
  • Conduct end-user interviews to uncover customer perceptions, problems and workflows
  • Develop long-term strategy, plans and prioritization in order to improve customer capabilities, satisfaction and to enhance Autodesk's credibility
  • Track and understand business performance across regions and within context of changing market conditions

Key Requirements for Candidate:

  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience working within the manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with data analytics, data synthesis and hypothesis testing
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and diplomatic skills
  • Enjoys participating in both team and independently accountable roles
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience authoring and editing video content
  • Strong project management, planning and research skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

  • Agile/SCRUM development process experience
  • 4+ years of Product management experience in software industry
  • MBA or MS in Engineering preferred
  • Interest and enthusiasm for data driven decision making
