Position Overview

As a Customer Success Manager within the Autodesk Education Experiences (AEX) organization, you will be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Education Named Account customers, ensuring their desired outcomes are achieved through the partnership. You will report to Senior Manager of Named Accounts of AEX and work closely with the broader account team. You will be the main driver for solution adoption, capturing new opportunities and work with the account team to help us expand our partnership with these customers.

We are looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager who is strategic, relationship-focused and business oriented to join Autodesk Education Experiences team. We expect you can have a great executive presence as all named accounts are sponsored by Autodesk Executives.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of remote, occasional onsite work and customer site travels. Travel is up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Collect customer requirements and pain points to make recommendations that can help achieve customer goals
  • Demo Autodesk solutions and technology (ACC, Forma and Fusion) to customers to generate interest and discover customer motivation and then share the insight with account team to inform strategy
  • Owns relationship with certain customers
  • By working with cross-functional teams, facilitate and coordinate activities to ensure successful technology adoption
  • Build working relationship with the broader Autodesk teams to achieve account goals
  • Hold regular check-in calls, executive business reviews, webinars, and mentoring sessions with customers to ensure success adoption and identifying further expansion opportunities
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and serve as an advocate for customer needs within the AEX team and the broader Autodesk
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product teams, Autodesk Research, CSM organization, and other internal Autodesk organizations
  • Prioritize when goals are vague and have courage to ask clarifying questions
  • Contribute and involve in quarterly business review with account team and executive sponsors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experienced in customer success management, or sales or pre-sales activities with great track record for 8+ years
  • Experienced in working with commercial customers and establishing long term relationship and partnership
  • Experienced or exposure to sales methodology and process
  • Experienced in working directly with executives
  • Deep understanding of AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) Industry. Understanding of Design and Manufacturing is a plus
  • Understanding or experience in higher education is a plus
  • Experience working within large/complex enterprise organizations
  • Travel up to 40% on average

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $121,800 and $197,120. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
