Position Overview

You will be responsible for driving, forecasting, and ensuring the closure of renewals for existing customers. You will be responsible for identification and creation of expansion opportunities. You will work through direct customer engagement, collaboration with partners, and align with Worldwide Sales teams. You will focus on the identification and mitigation of renewal churn risk and ensures the delivery of irresistible customer experiences. Our mission is to create customer loyalty and growth through positive customer experiences.

We are looking for a Renewals Specialist to join our team in Denver, CO. You will work in a hybrid/remote position, reporting directly to the Renewals Manager for North America.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas
  • Manage opportunity Pipeline and forecast for assigned set of accounts
  • Provide deal-specific primary and secondary sales support. Including creating and developing deals, presenting them to customers, negotiating terms, and closing the deal
  • Serve as an escalation point for all renewal issues that affect the customer's retention and drive execution of risk mitigation
  • Identify customer upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Report renewal performance by customer segment, region, sales channel, and product
  • Coordinate and execute collaborative channel partner, assigned territory sales, and customer sales meetings to increase renewals performance
  • Manage the direct renewals directly with the end-users
  • Remote position, with occasional in-person team meetings and training in the Denver office

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years sales/renewals experience
  • Have a collaborative and consultative work style, the ability to excel in a high volume, work environment and love being in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to negotiate $100k+ complex sales/renewals deals
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Limited Travel may be required

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $80,000 and $115,830. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
