Autodesk

Principal User Experience Designer

Toronto, Canada

Job Requisition ID #

24WD76867

Position Overview

We're looking for a Principal UX/UI Designer to join our growing Weave Design Systems team here at Autodesk! The Weave Design System is a collection of standardized design patterns and reusable UI components to allow our teams to create cohesive digital experiences for Autodesk products. The team operates centrally, serving all Autodesk, not one specific product team.

As Principal Designer for Weave, you will help to develop the system with new design pattern work, human-centered design workshops, amendments to current patterns and contributions from product teams. The daily work will range from design audits, reviews, close collaboration with product teams, and actual hands-on design work. You will bring expert-level familiarity with our Design System (not right away!) to help guide teams in adoption. We are looking for someone who is an excellent collaborator, designer, and can think holistically. We're designing a platform for design to work for all products at Autodesk.
