Position Overview

We're growing our Engineering team within Autodesk's Enterprise Services IT organization. This team leverages Software Engineering and DevOps principles to build the foundations for the company's business critical systems and processes, utilizing cloud-first platforms and services.

Our engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company and the leading edge of the latest industry technology trends. The team is seeking a Software Engineer who will have a critical role on how we design, build, and deliver reusable managed cloud stacks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop .NET applications to enhance Autodesk enterprise cloud platform
  • Architect complex business enterprise applications.
  • Configure and implement the public cloud environment for enterprise and business applications
  • Build and extend infrastructure automations for enterprise and business applications in the public cloud environment
  • Refactor and migrate enterprise and business applications running on-premise to the public cloud
  • Troubleshooting and Solutioning of issues in the Azure/AWS environment
  • Interact with enterprise and business application engineering teams to understand requests/issues, establish clear expectations, and provide effective communication
  • Design and build automation solutions to reduce manual efforts and increase team efficiency

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems

Preferred Candidate

  • 11-15 years of Hands-on experience in Application development experience using .NET (C#) framework , MVC, API, Angular, SQL and Azure Cloud
  • Design and Architectural skills to design complex large scale systems
  • Develop Automations using Python or Powershell scripting
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other product teams
  • Excellent communication and behavioural skills

Ideal Candidate

  • AWS Cloud Services and Solutioning
  • AI knowledge to drive innovative projects
  • Good knowledge on setting up cloud infra using terraforms or cloud formation templates (CFTs)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Code build, Code Deploy, Jenkins.
  • Good to have Docker/Kubernetes knowledge
  • Attention to detail and dedication to Quality, Automation
